On Wednesday 26th August Hessle came a very creditable 2nd place in the Yorkshire Team Championship.

Played at The Hallamshire Golf Club Hessle finsihed with an excellent score of 613 which was 11 shots clear of the third place team - Garforth on 624.

A Lockwood      74   73   147
A Hill                  80   81   161

Andy Lockwood also had the winning 36 hole score with his 147.

Congratulations on an outstanding result, not only for todays scores but for a solid performance over the last two seasons.  It should be noted that Hessle started last season in the 7th Division gaining promotion to the 4th Division for the start of this season, working their way up to the 1st Division.

The day was won by Wike Ridge with 598.
